The legendary company Red Star Line shipped between 1873 and 1934 more than 2 million passengers from Antwerp to America. At the Rijnkaai in the old port of Antwerp three historic warehouses were used by the Red Star Line. De Red Star Line-buildings are protected historic monuments. In de spring of 2012 the Red Star Memorial will be opened.
